Great for baby who wants to be like big sister! The baby fork and spoon are perfect for my curious little one. He likes to feel like his big sister with utensils and these help him learn without checking on the entire spoon (because of that wide rim). Since he is teething, his favorite feature is that they are easy to chew on!

Lovely First Cutlery Set -This is a lovely cutlery set for an early feeder. I love the blue handles and think the color quite appealing. Actually, this durable fork and spoon is better suited for a toddler who is mastering self feeding. The wide blue handle on the fork and spoon make for easy management for young hands to use.

LOVE these – easy to use and easy to clean!LOVE these utensils! We just started baby-led weaning a few weeks ago and all other spoons are too long and hard for my daughter to hold. These utensils are easy for her to hold, they?re the perfect length, and she was actually able to eat oatmeal (mostly) by herself yesterday, which I was amazed by! Plus they?re also the perfect material in case your infant is teething, which mine is. Love these!

Easy to use – I thought my one year old would just play with them when I introduced the fork. To my surprised he was able to grab the fork very l easily and feed himself. The spoon I use for yogurt and he loves it. The silicone is soft but durable. He enjoys teething on it. I?m going to buy another set.
Mary A. via bumkins.com –
Not a gimmick – These are great first tools. In fact, they are good to give the baby to hold during feeding to keep hands out of the way. That stage does not last long, and these do a good job getting first food to the mouth.

Awesome First Utensil Set, Chewable Aspect is a Real Winner!I got these for my 1 year old who has been eating table food, but has started to show interest in feeding herself. These utensils are so cool! They are small, but chunky so she can grasp them easily and she likes the textured handles. She’s still teething, so she’s really enjoying chewing on them and because they’re silicone, she doesn’t damage them by gnawing on them or hurt her gums.
The spoon has a good depth to it so she can scoop up corn, potatoes, or applesauce and it doesn’t fall off. The fork isn’t as functional since the prongs bend. You’re not going to be able to stab and pick up meat or anything crispy like French fries, but the practice is the important part at this stage. She can use the fork to scoop as well. The chewable aspect really makes these stand out as first utensils and these are great quality. I hand wash them to prolong the life of them. Highly recommended and will purchase another set.

Easy to grasp by resident eighteen month old. Very cute colors. The fork is shaped like it used to be a spoon, with a curve in the center. Good quality. I love the turquoise color of this set. It washes well in the dishwasher. Easy to grasp and use by our resident eighteen month old.

Small for a very little beginning eater. Very small size to fit very little hands. My 8-month old granddaughter handled them comfortably and was able to put them in her mouth. The sides of each utensil is shaped a bit like a pacifier and has small holes that could be used with a pacifier clip. The end of each utensil is rounded and weighted heavier than the spoon or fork side. The back of the spoon has small bumps which my granddaughter liked for teething. The fork could not stab anything harder than a banana.

Perfect for self feeding infants! I?ve come across these utensils frequently and have been intrigued by them, so when given the opportunity to try them out, I jumped on it. First of all, I love their size and design. They are perfect for infant hands. Secondly, the mouth guard is smart. I feel better allowing my little one to feed himself when I know he won?t accidentally shove a fork too far into his mouth.
I do have one concern, and it may just be me, but I?m worried that the material is too flimsy. Right now, there are no issues using the fork with softer/tender foods, but there might be a time where the fork cannot pierce through the piece of food because it isn?t hard or sharp enough. Then again, maybe by that time in our feeding journey, these utensils will be too small anyways. I will update in the future!

Loved it – Excellent product

Way better than expected – My 7 month old loves her chewtensils so much. We wanted to get her something she could safely play with while we all eat dinner, but also use to figure out what we’re doing with our utensils. These have been so great and she just loves chewing on them. The oversized balls on the ends are great for gripping. There’s textured bumps on the underside of the spoon that I can tell help with the teething pain she’s having. I don’t recommend these for actually eating with, but for learning and fun.
Jay E. via bumkins.com –
Great for young kids – My 16 month old son holds them very easily and seems to like attempting to use the spoon. They are a very soft rubber so it can’t really hurt your child or you, your dog, or any other innocent bystander within throwing distance. The hand guard prevents being able to put it deep into a container.
I gave it only 4 stars because the fork is pretty useless as a fork. The tines are very thick, rounded, and spaced somewhat far apart making it near impossible to stab anything especially considering how soft the rubber is.

They are fun and my son loves them – My son Loved these Silicone ustensiles they are great for baby that are teething, I like that they are soft but still works great! They are easy to wash and very handy to bring in your bag too! I would recommend those

Awesome dual teether and feeder – Purchased for our 8mo old, she loves being able to hold her own utensils, even though she hasn?t figured out how to actually feed herself. These are doubling as teethers and feeders.
Yev via bumkins.com –
Great product – I thought these would be too small for babies chunky hands but they are perfect. She can finally use utensils without choking and is actually eating properly from as well.
Kelsey via bumkins.com –
Simple spoon/fork set – I really love the shape of the spoon. It has a nice cupping to it. However, I do not like the shape of the fork. It is cupped like a spoon, with tines of a fork. I think this is a little more difficult for children to clear the fork with their lips while eating chunkier pieces of food. I would prefer to see a more flat fork. I love that these are dishwasher safe – just throw them in the dishwasher when you are done!
Hunting C via bumkins.com –
Perfect for tiny hands – The Bumpkins chewtensils baby fork and spoon are perfect for tiny hands. They are the smallest fork and spoon I’ve seen and are not only adorable, but are functional and are a good way to begin to teach baby how to eat with utensils without worrying about them hurting themselves. No choking risk either.
Devan B via bumkins.com –
Easy to hold and great for learning how to “dig” your food! My 8 month old loves these. I give them to her when she eats so she can get used to holding them and maybe try to feed herself. They are super easy for her to hold and she loves chewing on them. I’m going to keep showing her how to use them and hopefully she will catch on soon! He knows how to hold them from the bottom and sometimes she tries to dig into her food and move it around, so it’s a start!

Great for a baby starting food while teething – My baby loves these. I bought the Grabease first but he prefers the soft silicone to the hard plastic. The shield prevents him from gagging on the spoon and the thick handles are easy for him to grab. I just throw them in the dishwasher and they come out perfectly clean.
Martha via bumkins.com –
Love these! My little guy loves these – has been using them since he was 6 months old – they are very easy for him to grasp because of the ridges and make it very easy to learn how to use utensils.
Ss. Deb via bumkins.com –
Worth it! These were such a great purchase for my daughter who was interested in feeding herself. The other spoons were way too long and she could not get control of it so would chunk it across the room and use her hands. She quickly learned how to grasp these and uses them very well to feed herself. They are silicone which makes them gentle on gums and the spoon has texture in the back which is great when she?s teething to scratch/ease her gums. Dishwasher safe which is a huge plus and come in several fun colors!
My only Callout: the fork is weak and bendy just like stated in some of the reviews. Since my daughter is small and not eating crunchy full solid foods this isn?t a big deal for me but something to keep in mind. She can pick up bananas and pasta things that are softer but harder foods will make the silicone fork bend and give.

Easy to hold – These are nice toddler forks and spoons. They have a good grips and the metal on the fork works well for older toddlers and preschoolers although I?m not sure I?d give it to an infant or younger toddler, just when they?re steady with it. It says top rack for the dishwasher but we?ve been washing them with the rest of the flatware and it?s been fine.

Perfect Size and Weight. Baby Loves. Adorable set of chew toys. Perfect size and weight. Doesn’t overly collect lint. Washes easily with soap and water. Can be heat sterilized with no problems. Adds a lot if interest to baby’s growing collection so that she doesn’t get bored. She really loves these in addition to her two favorites.

Good for toddlers or lunchboxes – The Bumkins baby fork and spoon is easy to grasp, compact and no plastic touches their mouth, even if it is BPA-free as well as free of another host of toxins because it is made of silicone and stainless steel. Works for older folk’s lunchboxes too. Attractive blue color.

David R. via bumkins.com –
Easy to use – These utensils are cute and easy to use. The handle is good for small hands and the material is softer than another brand we tried.
Laura0806 via bumkins.com –
A great set of utensiles for my 3 and 4.5 year old. Only downside: currently overpriced. – These are perfect for ages 2+. The grips are fantastic and both are designed for scooping. Great utensils to transition from soft tipped spoons/forks for the earliest eaters. The only downside to these is the price: currently listed at $12.95, this is pretty steep. I wouldn’t pay more than $6 or so. I know Amazon prices fluctuate a lot, so keep an eye out. Otherwise, just right for our two boys.
Sasidhar K. via bumkins.com –
Perfect- This is a great product… My daughter gags on plastic spoons sometimes but these silicone spoons are perfectly safe. She’s also teething so this is perfect for her. The great thing is food stays on the spoon much better than with other spoons. Spills are much lesser. That’s a definite plus because my daughter doesn’t yet understand gravity and shakes her spoon in all directions before putting it into her mouth.. Hehe.. I’m planning to order another set..
Bajalori via bumkins.com –
Easy to pick up food – These were really great for our grandson, we bought the silicone ones but were not happy with them he couldn?t pick anything up.
This set was perfect
Debimustard via bumkins.com –
Great for learning – These are so much better than stiff utensils with long handles that chubby baby hands can?t hold! My one year old has been feeding herself and adapted easily to this. She can use regular utensils more easily now too.
Sharon S. via bumkins.com –
Cute but not particularly functional – These utensils are cute and great in theory, but the fork is a bit too fat/weak for anything to actually be properly punctured (tried putting a strawberry, banana, etc on the fork directly to hand to my baby). It is good to get the babies used to having utensils, but doesn’t really work to eat food. It seems like my daughter enjoyed using it as a teething toy.
Tracy J. via bumkins.com –
SO great for early eaters! I think these are a great product for little eaters. Especially starting around 6 months. My 10 month old loves eating and chewing on them for meal time. They are also great for BLW babies. I have been preloading the spoon and fork for him and handing it to him and he’s slowly getting the hang of feeding himself. I love that they are silicone and bendy, so no worries of poking too hard on his face. Also really easy to wash by hand or throw them in the dishwasher.

Great for utensil learning! These are really great to have! They are made with soft chewable silicone and designed to be easy to grab for babies. They keep our little one entertained while also teaching how to use utensils. And the choke guard makes them safe for little ones to use and puts my paranoid mommy mind at ease. We love these!

Baby’s favorite new toy – I was only slightly skeptical when the Bumkins Chewtensils arrived as I had recently noticed that my seven-month-old liked to grab the spoon I was feeding her with and hold it in her hand and **** on it. The Chewtensils do a much better job. It?s quickly obvious that they are both great training utensils but also, what is needed most right now, a great teething toy for my baby. As you can see from the photo, she was sold on them immediately. They are a welcome addition to our new feeding routine. The Chewtensils are well-made and fit comfortably in her mouth. She also likes to smack them against the table. The silicone makes them sturdy, well-made and able to hold up against a curious baby.
Jasmine via bumkins.com –
Easy grip and pacifier shield prevents gagging. Perfect for little hands and the pacifier-like shield prevents baby from gagging themselves as they bite the **** out of these things. I dip it in baby food while I’m feeding baby so baby can self feed in between Mama feeding. Sometimes baby doesn’t want food I’m passing by the spoon in my hand but lo and behold, the same food on baby’s spoon is so much more delicious since they can feed themselves.
Christina T. (verified owner) –
I got this as my baby kept putting the wrong end of the spoon into her mouth but she still manages to do it with these utensils! Not the utensils fault though! The fork is able to pierce pieces of food even though it’s a nice soft silicone.

A little ambitious – We are a bit ambitious and bought these for our 11 month old. She does love to hold them, she doesn’t quite understand the fork, but we love how they fit in her hand and that she tries to use them.

Kc512 via bumkins.com –
Perfect for little ones just starting out – I knew I wanted to get her cutietensils from a different company when she was older and really trying to feed herself but saw these suggested by a nutritionist on IG for younger babies. We started using these around 6mths and I just wanted her to have them to start to familiarize herself with similar utensils to what the rest of the family was using. I didn’t expect her to love them so much but she does. The base is perfect for her palmer grip and I don’t have to worry about her gagging herself. We all sit together to eat so in between spoon feeding her with a traditional baby spoon I will preload her spoon with puree. It’s messy but she can grip it and bring it to her mouth.
I will add, if you are making your own food instead of using store bought you should expect stains. The marble is so pretty but the first time she had cherries stained them a good bit.

Perfect utensils for little fingers -These are the perfect utensils for little fingers. They are very small, which makes them easy to hold in small hands. They are a sturdy rubber material, but the fork does work well as well as the spoon. These are the perfect way to introduce utensils.
Ashley via bumkins.com –
Great for teething & eating – Our son loves eating with them and chewing on them.
Christina via bumkins.com –
Bumkins Baby Fork and Spoon Set – So far, so good. These forks and spoons have held up well over multiple runs through the dishwasher. The silicone handles are easy for baby to grip (and sometimes chew on…) and while they did discolor a bit from spaghetti sauce and a dish that was heavy on the turmeric, they have for the most part gone back to their original color (after multiple washes).
The spoon seems perfectly reasonable for a toddler but is perhaps a bit large for my 13 mo old (she is a bit on the small side). The outer tines on the fork are bent upwards slightly more than the middle tines and I suppose this is to help with getting food to ‘stay’ put. It’s hard to say if this actually provides any additional help, however, as my daughter doesn’t seem to have any problem getting food to stay on her fork tines to begin with (we have several other sets of ‘toddler silverware’ that we cycle through). Overall, we’re happy with the durability of this set and ease of being able to stick them straight into the dishwasher.

Perfect for my 14-Month Old – This is exactly what we were looking for. Our 14-month old is able to hold the silverware and use it pretty well! Love the color and love that it’s only stainless and silicone. No plastic.
Jean K. via bumkins.com –
Clever design- It’s a balancing act for toddlers to get their food from plate to mouth without it falling from the fork. That short distance between plate and mouth can sometimes seem like a long journey when toddlers are learning to secure pieces of food on their fork and hold it steady while making the trip to their mouth. The curved tines design of this fork helps toddlers keep that bite from falling while en route from plate to mouth.
Stainless steel with silicone hand grips. These are approximately 5.5″ long and the grip seems perfect for my toddler’s hands. The silicone also feels nice and don’t de surprised if your toddler wants to bite the handle. It’s a great way to satisfy a toddler’s biting urge without worrying about tooth damage.
Dishwasher safe and BPA-free.
Highly recommend.

Really love that these are silicone – I feel that silicone is much safer than plastic. I’m really happy with these as we introduce some food to our six year old. She’s certainly not ready to hold the spoon on her own, but it’s worked great for feeding her. We like these!

Favorite teethers – My son took to these the moment I gave them to him. He loves them. Like, he will chew on these all day long. I give him the spoon with some baby food on it and then let him keep it so I can use a real spoon to continue feeding him. He used to keep trying to steal the spoon when I was feeding him. Now I can feed him without interruption or thrown spoons. As a self-feeding utensil it is a bit hard to get food to stick on the fork, but they both scoop food up well. My son is 9 months old and can hold these easily. They are dishwasher safe, but easily washed by hand as well. I am beyond thrilled with these. I will be buying more packs of these.

Baby took to it the second it was in her hand! I didn’t have super high hopes for using this just yet as my daughter is only 7 months old…however i tried it out this morning for her breakfast and she started using the spoon right away! All I had to do was put some oatmeal on the spoon and into her mouth it went. She was very happy to feed herself and it was so much easier than trying to get her to open her mouth for every bite. Highly recommend!

Sort of a utensil, sort of a pacifier – These “chewtensils” are made of plastic and are super easy for baby to grasp. My son intuitively got that he was supposed to pick them up by the knobby end and stick them in his mouth – the rounded mouth shield part was similar to his pacifier, so he likes to **** and chew on them. For our comfort in feeding him, they’re a little short, but we do BLW so we’re hoping he’ll get used to the act of putting utensils in his mouth. Note: if you do not do BLW yourselves, you may not really “get” these utensils and you may just find them annoying to use.
