Great for disabilities
i bought this bowl for my father. He doesn’t have use of his left arm and gets frustrated when eating from bowls because they move around the table. This was perfect to solve that problem for them.

Wonderful for pets with challenges
I bought this for a friend who has a cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. It is similar to Cerebral Palsy in humans. Mealtime can be frustrating and messy for the cats as they are unable to be steady. This bowl/mat worked great. Being a soft silicone material makes it easier on the cat as she tends to “peck” at her food due to CH.
Bowl works great and cleans up really easily.
Diana Solomon via amazon.com –
We use these for the cats! Our cats have dry food available 24/7 and were constantly pushing the dishes around as they ate, so we’d end up kicking/tripping over them and sending dry food flying everywhere. They also get canned food in the morning, in a different spot, and those dishes kept ending up under the edge of the counters so they couldn’t get to all the food.
We now have two of these with dry food in them 24/7 and we plop the smaller canned food dishes right on top of the dry food in the morning! They’re able to eat all the canned food, then we pick those dishes up and they’re back to grazing!
They should make a line for pets with paw prints and bones on them. 😉

A must-have for Fast Chair users!
This bowl is great! My son is 7 months and we are just starting to eat finger foods. This bowl helps him to have a edge to push food against when he’s trying to pick it up with his little fingers. The bowl is easy to clean, just a rinse and quick wipe down is all it needs. It’s gone into the dishwasher with no issues, also. The silicone is thick and sturdy, seems to be of a great quality so far.
We use a Fast Chair as our primary high chair to help minimize baby items that we’re tripping over in the house but has been disappointing because the Fast Chair always leaves about 0.5 inch gap between baby’s belly and the table, a perfect spot for food to fall to the floor. Half the time food would land on the floor before baby could even pick it up. I purchased the Happy Bowl hoping the mat would be sturdy enough to cover the gap and it is working great for this purpose! It’s thick enough to stay flat even where unsupported over the gap. Plus, our son really enjoys looking in the bowl to see if there’s any food that’s magically appeared in his little bowl. 🙂
The only downfall of this use is that baby can get his fingers in this gap and under the mat so he can pick the whole thing up, but this is easier to stop than the ever constant falling food through the gap. Just to clarify, this issue only happens because we don’t put the bowl completely on the table — when the bowl is flat against a table (not over the gap caused by our Fast Chair) it tightly suctions to the table so in normal use it would be tough for little fingers to pick up the whole thing.

Exactly what I was looking for
Mine did not have any smell like I’ve seen other people mention. I used this from the time my child was 6 months to about one year maybe when we switched to regular (correlle) tableware and she was able to sit and eat without picking up the plate/bowl. We never put food in her mouth we just gave her baby safe utensils and let her eat however she could. She learned to use a spoon much earlier than other kids and I think this bowl helped because it’s stable. I even brought it to restaurants when she was a baby because if she had a plate she’d pick it up/knock it off the table. Now it’s stored for the next kid. She’s eating black beans in the photo in case you’re wondering.

You won’t want to buy any other placement!!
We received one of these as a gift for our 1 year old. We honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as we do! There are tons of these types of placemats on the market, so we didn’t expect this one to be any different. However, we were pleasantly surprised!! These are sturdy and stay in place beautifully! They’re easy to wash by hand, but also stand up really nicely in the dishwasher instead of being horribly floppy. They stand up so well in the dishwasher that I don’t get those gross unwashed spots like I do with other floppier placemats. These were so nice, we ordered a set of the bowls and more of the plates for our 1 year old and a set for our 2.5 year old too. Nicely done, EZPZ!

Lady Loves It!
This turned out to be the “Exactly Right” solution to feeding “Lady”, our 16 1/2 (+) year-old dog! Chasing a food bowl at meal time might have been part of the fun in earlier times, but it’s a frustrating annoyance when you are 115 in dog years.
Like any product that is injection molded then film wrapped, you can expect that out-gassing will be a minor issue at first. In the case of this product, an overnight soak in warm soapy water followed by a top rack dishwashing did the trick for us.
The bowl appears to be exceptionally well designed and manufactured, so I expect that it will last a long time in daily use.
All in all, I think I got exactly what I paid for. I’m totally satisfied with the bowl and recommend it to others.

great bowl
I love this bowl.
It is made of thick but flexible silicone (around 1/4 inch thick I think ) .
I use this on the high chair tray to let my baby hand feed himself little pieces of food while I spoon feed him because he is not very good at that yet so that way he can practice without having all the meal end up on the floor 😉
The back of it is flat which means that if you place it on a clean flat surface it will stick .Your baby will not knock it off the table while he plays with his food but consider it will NOT stay attached to the table/tray strongly, is not like suction or vacuum , is more like sticker, so if your kid wants to, he can very easily peel it off the table and drop it on the floor! IF your kid wants to do that intentionally.
In my case I just know that as long as he stays entertained playing with his food he will not try to mess with the bowl.
I would like that they put the logo in the outside of the bowl where doesn’t get so messy because having the logo be like engraved makes it a little harder to wash needing some extra scrubbing if the food dried there.
except for that little detail I love it and I’m thinking about get one of the different models they have.

Great product
This is our 4th purchase from this company. We love their products! We use them at home…. but best of all we love to take them to restaurants. They all suction nicely to the table.
Update: I love these. I had a little issue with two of them I ordered and I have to say, the customer service from the company has been amazing. I emailed and sent in photos and proof of purchase and someone got back to me within hours and resolved the issue. I’m beyond happy with their great customer service and the product as well.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
We love this ezpz bowl. It is great to prevent child from just dumping their bowl of food on the floor.
If you are as tired of cleaning the floor as we were before we got this you should definitely try it. Before our child would grab their bowl as soon as we gave it to them and just dump it on the floor. This is awesome because it suctions to the table, island, etc and they can’t yank it off and dump it.
disclaimer: my little one finally figured out how to get it off by lifting up the sides so it no longer works as well but we still use it and most of the time the child leaves it alone.
GREAT IDEA> a little pricey for one bowl but worth it!

Great product for parents
Amazing! I bought this, the mini mat and the large mat. I bought a different brand too, it was $5 cheaper, not mentioning the brand name, but would say for sure spend the extra money for the ezpz. The other brand my one year old son was able to pick up, as first tested right out of the package. All the ezpz items are holding up to the promise. They are microwave and dishwasher safe and do in fact suction when my son tries to lift them. I am still in awe as to how this works. The mini mat and bowl are perfect for travel and fits in the high chair tray well. The regular mat is a bit large but great for home at the table to keep a wide area clean. Also the mini mat and bowl are great for eating out, no more food sitting on the quasi clean table. I love it so much I am buying another mini mat for daycare.

Game changer
Dinner was a struggle. Our 18mo would sit in his highchair peacefully for all of about 6 minutes before melting down, leaving me to either shovel food in my face or just not finish eating. Any food I served him in dish or bowl was ultimately tossed in the floor. It was an utter waste of food. I decided to change things up a bit and get him his own plate setting at the table with the happy bowl . Wow, just wow. It made a HUGE difference immediately. My son would now sit in his tiny chair at the coffee table and EAT dinner peaceful…and with less mess to top it off. Why didn’t I try these sooner??? We serve every meal in his happy bowl and he went from kicking and screaming in the highchair to running towards his spot at the little table and having a blast eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean up is a breeze and more importantly everyone is happy.

Order it! You’ll love it!
We love this bowl. I’ll be ordering more products from this company soon and will give theses away for baby shower gifts. They stay put on the table/floor. My little 9 month old went straight for it to pick it up and chuck it but it did not budge. Once I put some chicken bits in she sat there and ate like a champ. Can’t recommend this enough. Oh and it went through the dishwasher on the bottom rack just fine. Only con is the size doesn’t fit in her high chair tray so I just put it on the floor or seat of the chair.

Well worth the money
The ez pz placemats and bowls are AMAZING. I’m going to order more for my other kids, they all love it and so do we. I took it out of the box and threw it on the floor, called my husband out and asked him to pick it up. He couldn’t get it off the floor when he tried to pick it up by the bowl, once he grabbed the mat itself it came right up. I have a 1 year old, 3 year old and 8 year old plus I babysit. I have yet to have a little kid be able to figure out how to pick it up and my 8 year old and her friends beg to use it constantly. Easy to clean and so much better than all those suction cup bowls/plates. These work REALLY well. Between my own kids and the ones I babysit, I have wasted so much money on the cheap, nonfunctional plates and bowls that just get dumped. Never again will I bother buying anything else. This is amazing and does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Great product!
I was really happy to recieve this product. I use this bowl to bring with me to the restaurants so that my 1 year old doesn’t make a huge mess and she has her own plate/bowl to eat from. When putting it down for the first time I was impressed with how strong it was and how I couldn’t pull it up with just tugging on the bowl. I thought wow my daughter wouldn’t be able to pull this yo BUTT she did! Her finger got right in between the suction and she was able to keep pulling it up. She didn’t do it when it was filled with food so that was good.
I do think the material is really nice and strong and I would purchase it again if I had to.
Highly recommend.

How did anyone eat out with toddlers before this existed?
This bowl/mat is a game-changer. The kind of product you can absolutely tell was designed by a parent who has been through The Struggle. This thing STICKS to most flat countertops. It even grips our wood table pretty well, with all of its knotty seams. We usually keep our ezpz Happy Bowl in the car for when we eat out, so that our 13-month-old doesn’t have to eat off of strange counters at restaurants. The waiters love it, too, because it means more of the food stays off the table/floor. We’ve bought two more as gifts, and this is actually the second we’ve bought for ourselves. We lost the first one we bought in the ATL airport — I hope another family found it and it changed their lives as well!

Great product for baby and toddler.
Great little bowl. This makes breakfast a breeze. Perfect for fruit, yogurt, oatmeal. Also great for soup. My baby also picks up bowls and promptly turns over. This auctions to the high chair tray, no amount of tugging will release it from tray. It didn’t take long for my baby to figure out the corners can be peeled up, but this is a little tricky and slow. Typically I can redirect if baby starts to do this. Overall, this the best product on the market. I love the size. Cleans up beautifully in dishwasher.
Jen Zalez via amazon.com –
Perfect!
Ordered this for my toddler that loves throwing plates around due to failed attempts with the suction type plates which over time warped and she figures out how to take them off. This has some weight to it. Yes she will be able to peel it but it gives me more response time to stop her but if she tries to pick it up the mat isn’t budging. I notice putting slight moisture helps it stick better too.

Excellent Child Proof Bowl
Obsessed with these mats. My 13mo daughter pulls on the bowl and it doesn’t budge, which we love, obviously. We’re anticipating the day when she figures out she can just lift up the side and throw it around, but so far she doesn’t seem to care to… I can see where that could be an issue if your little one is slightly more curious/destructive, but I love that its also easy for us to pick back up after the meal (no mess from releasing suction). The bowl is a great size for her meals too (serving of yogurt, cereal, soups, etc).
Big fan. Highly recommend.

Easy to clean, go to for feeding on the counter
I like the bowl shape because it’s easy to clean and looks more like what mommy and daddy use. The silicone is nice and sturdy and sticks pretty well to the counter (especially if a little wet). Sometimes I put things in the bowl, sometimes on the side next to the bowl. It doesn’t fit on our Fisher Price high chair tray, though, so we only use it when feeding our toddler at the counter in his helper stool.

This is a great idea for little kids and Adults with disabilities
This is a great idea for little kids and Adults with disabilities. I ordered this silicone mat/dish for my sister who suffers from seizures and has uncontrollable jerks. She can now eat on her own again, because her plate stays in place. Loved it so much we ordered this bowl as well, that works well for soup, desert, snacks.
Kevin G via amazon.com –
Excellent idea!!
Maybe someday the FDA will reverse their stance on silicone and tell us all is poison, but until that day I’m quite happy to surround myself with this fabulous material. Silicone mixing bowls, bibs, and straws have all been a hit, so we thought we’d try this bowl/mat out.
Pros: easy to clean, stays put, restricts our 13 month old from relocating her meal onto the floor with one errant swipe of the arm, great for whipping out at restaurants where we don’t trust her with ceramic plates and don’t really want her eating off a dirty table.
Cons: doesn’t quite fit the highchair tray (so potentially not as stable as it could be, but not a great concern), doesn’t fold up/roll up as nicely as I had hoped for taking it on the go.
I’ll also add that the construction is terrific. I’ve seen some cheap silicone products out there, and this is not that. High quality, well made, will last a lifetime.

kids’ dinnerware
I ordered this for my three-year old grandson. Meals were tricky as his bowls were sliding across the table. This all in one bowl and mat keep his food secure and easy for him to eat. I only hand wash it after reading some reviews that the self sticking feature was lost after the bowl was put in the dishwasher.

Definitely recommend for teaching self-feeding!
Great for my daughter who’s learning and perfecting self-feeding. She’s 16 months and pretty much has it down and it only took about a week of having this bowl. I’m not saying that it wasn’t without my effort, but the mat/bowl combo makes it that much easier since it doesn’t move and she’s better able to scoop. Sure, she’ll eventually lift that up, which seems to be a common complaint, but that’s to be expected. Truth is, no product is ever going to negate the need of a parent’s watchful eye. The most important features of this product are that it fits on her highchair tray, (which it does) and the design is functional (which it is) I’ll be buying the other plating options as well since she’s done so well with the bowl.

This product is amazing. It’s dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and throwing proof. It magically stays securely on the surface and then easily peels up. I am buying this for every baby shower going forward and have already shared w my tribe.

I LOVE these bowls
I LOVE these bowls! Great for toddlers just learning to use utensils and learning how to eat for themselves. They won’t be able to push it down the table and they’re pressing food onto their forks! My favorite bit? Dishwasher safe!!! I just stack them on the bottom rack with all the plates 😀

Highly recommend!
Instead of the typical tug of war I had with my older children at meal times (we didn’t have options like this), my now 2 year old gets to use these bowls and plates with ease. If he’s feeling feisty, he can still pull them up off of his tray, but spills happen far less now than they ever had in the past. I highly recommend them and I buy them as gifts for new moms!
Joel Schanbacher via amazon.com –
This mat is great. Nothing will stay on a table if you give a toddler enough time, but so far this is the only item that my son hasn’t yet figured out. Also, it’s a nice barrier so that I don’t need to scrub the table after every meal.
People seem to disagree on how adhesive this mat is. We have a laminate-type surface IKEA table, and it sticks really well. On our coffee table which is cheap particleboard, it slides around.
